Population We Serve

Beautiful Beginnings Residential Care provides structured, supportive behavioral health residential services designed to meet the individualized needs of adults and youth requiring additional behavioral health support, supervision, stabilization, and skill development.

Adult Population We Serve

Our adult residential programs serve individuals age 18 and older who may benefit from a structured behavioral health environment, including individuals experiencing:

• Serious Mental Illness (SMI)
• General Mental Health and behavioral health needs
• Substance Use Disorders (SUD)
• Co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
• High-acuity behavioral health needs
• Court-ordered treatment needs
• Depression, anxiety, trauma, and mood disorders
• Schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders
• Difficulty with medication adherence or symptom management
• Developmental, cognitive, or intellectual disabilities when appropriate for the program
• Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental needs when appropriate
• Difficulty maintaining stability in a less structured setting
• Housing instability associated with behavioral health needs
• Individuals transitioning from hospitals, crisis settings, treatment programs, or other residential levels of care
• Individuals requiring continued support with independent living skills, coping skills, community integration, and treatment participation

Services and placement are based on an individualized assessment to determine whether the program can safely and appropriately meet the individual’s behavioral health and supervision needs.

Youth Population We Serve

Our youth residential program serves females ages 6 through 17 who may require a structured, trauma-informed residential environment with behavioral health treatment, supervision, education coordination, and individualized support.

We may serve girls experiencing:

• General Mental Health (GMH) needs
• Substance Use Disorders (SUD)
• Co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns
• Trauma and adverse childhood experiences
• Depression, anxiety, and mood-related disorders
• Emotional and behavioral dysregulation
• Impulsivity and difficulty with healthy decision-making
• Family conflict or instability
• Difficulty functioning successfully in the home, school, or community
• Behavioral concerns requiring additional structure and supervision
• Juvenile justice or court-involved treatment needs when appropriate
• Challenges with coping skills, communication, anger management, and interpersonal relationships
• School difficulties or educational needs, including youth
